Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is the plant disease diagnosis?
PlantLens uses Google Gemini AI to analyze leaf and stem photos. It is highly accurate for common diseases but results are for informational purposes only and should not replace advice from a professional horticulturist or agronomist.
What kind of photos work best?
For best results, take a close-up photo of the affected leaf or stem in good lighting. Avoid blurry images and try to include both healthy and affected areas for comparison.
Does PlantLens work offline?
PlantLens requires an internet connection for AI-powered diagnosis. However, your saved plant profiles and care calendars are stored locally on your device and accessible offline.
What types of plants are supported?
PlantLens can analyze most common houseplants, garden plants, vegetables, fruit trees, and ornamental plants. It supports hundreds of species and thousands of disease patterns.
Is there a daily limit for scans?
Yes, to ensure service quality, there is a daily limit of 50 scans per device. The limit resets every 24 hours.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Purchase History on your device, or contact Apple Support directly.
